Undergradaute Internships or a Full Time Job at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY) will be recruiting for the full time and internship opportunities.

Federal Reserve Bank of New York Overview: The FRBNY seeks students interested in finance, accounting, economics, capital markets, business, ethics & compliance, or operational management with a strong academic record and passion for data analysis.

What are the Career Tracks: Full time or Internship opportunities are with two separate tracks, Technology and Business.

The Technology Group (TG) is responsible for the strategic planning and provisioning of automation services to the Bank. These include application development, data architecture, network, communications and data center infrastructure and operations, project management, technology vendor management, and overall information technology and information security. The Group also provides national information security, incident response, national remote access and enterprise search services for the Federal Reserve System.

The Business Track comprises of four bank groups: Corporate, Financial Services, Statistics, and Legal. The Business Track is dedicated to being a trusted, strategic business partner to clients Bank wide. Undergraduate hires deliver a broad range of innovative, impactful solutions that foster the Bank’s ability to meet its mission. Internship and full time roles are aligned across its functions to provide superior services and value-added resource and financial management that seamlessly support our clients’ and the Bank’s objectives.

Opportunities for Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors: Juniors are eligible to apply for a 10-week long internship. Sophomores are eligible to apply for an 8-week long internship. Freshmen from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds are eligible to learn more about the New York Fed and opportunities available for undergraduate students.
