What is the Frontier Fellows Program: This program offers exceptional undergraduate students who come from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds an opportunity in private equity with a premier 2022 summer internship, as well as a $25k scholarship. Fellows will participate in Vista’s leading private equity summer internship program, where they will learn, grow and gain hands-on transaction experience. Additionally, Fellows will be assigned a mentor, receive direct feedback, and have an opportunity to participate in various networking, social and educational events. The program exists within our Austin, TX office beginning Summer 2022.
What is Private Equity and the Job: Big picture, as an Analyst, you would join an organization focused on investments in software, data, and technology companies. The private equity analyst program provides you with immersive training and hands-on experience to develop valuation, due diligence, and deal execution skills, as well as best practices of portfolio company management. Working with investment professionals of all levels, you will learn from the ground-up how a sector-specific private equity investor identifies, evaluates, and executes on new opportunities.
