3. MBA Letters of Recommendation and GMAT/GRE:
March 21st, 7:00pm – 8:15pm ET

This session will look closely at two of the key requirements for MBA admission – standardized tests and letters of recommendation. All big MBA programs now accept either the GMAT or the GRE. We’ll discuss how to choose and how to prepare to get your best score. We’ll also discuss letters of recommendation – determining who is best positioned to write on your behalf, how to ask for their support, and how you can support them so they can provide the maximum benefit to your candidacy.

4. MBA Applications and Resumes:
April 25th, 7:00pm – 8:00pm ET

A sharp resume for MBA applications looks a little different from one you might use for a job. We’ll talk through these differences and share tips for an impactful and efficient resume. In addition, MBA programs provide a chance to go beyond your resume through a series of short answer questions. We’ll talk about how to approach these to maximize the opportunity to thoughtfully build out your story.

5. Writing Strong MBA Application Essays:
May 23th, 7:00pm – 8:00pm ET

Unlike the college admissions process, where a common application allowed you to write one personal essay for all schools, MBA programs vary in what essay questions they ask to get to know you better. Some essay prompts are very focused on goals, others on past experiences or personal values. And still others are wide open spaces. In this session, we’ll look at a variety of prompts and discuss how to think about them before you begin writing. We’ll also spend time discussing best practices and common pitfalls in MBA essays.
