Considering getting your MBA? The JumpStart Path2MBA prepares undergraduate students and working professionals to engage directly with admissions officers at our MBA program partners.

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business prepares its students for a successful career by rooting its education in the fundaments – accounting, economics, psychology, sociology and statistics. The world-class faculty at Booth teaches you how to use analytical frameworks and apply evidence-based thinking to solve complex problems. After earning your MBA at Booth, you’ll be ready to tackles the challenges of today and present solutions for tomorrow.

For current undergraduate seniors, consider applying to the Chicago Booth Scholars Program. If admitted, you’ll be able to defer admission for two to five years while you gain professional work experience.

As part of Path2MBA experience, Chicago Booth is waiving application fees of $250 for the JumpStart Network. It is mandatory to register and attend their session to be eligible for the Waiver Fee so we encourage you to reference the event to make sure you are registered based on the details below if you have not done so already.

Speaker at The Event

Mary Beth Lantzy

Mary Beth Lantzy is Associate Director of Global Outreach and Admissions at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In this role, Mary Beth also oversees Women’s Initiatives. Prior to Booth, Mary Beth was Director of Global Communications at MRM, McCann Worldgroups’s
digital and data technology agency.

Mary Beth received a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and studied Journalism, with a focus on sports broadcasting. As a woman, she was compelled to head into a male dominated industry – working at ESPN and Major League Baseball, then transitioning into global communications as an entertainment publicist and in the non-profit space at the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mary Beth also graduated with a Masters of Science in Marketing at the University of Edinburgh, and her dissertation was focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in professional golf with a comparative analysis between golfing organizations within the UK and within the United States.

Mary Beth loves travel, running, desserts and writing children picture books (and talking about all of the above!).
