Greetings from JumpStart!

Considering getting your MBA?

The JumpStart Path2MBA program prepares undergraduate students and working professionals to engage directly with admissions officers from leading MBA programs and gain valuable insights into the business school admissions process.

Join us for an exclusive virtual session with the admissions team from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business designed to help prospective students think more intentionally about their MBA journey.

Whether you are actively considering business school, exploring your options, or trying to determine the right timing for an MBA, this interactive workshop will provide valuable guidance and perspective.

This interactive, decision-focused workshop is designed to help prospective students think more intentionally about their MBA journey.

Rather than focusing solely on the mechanics of applying, the session guides participants through a simple framework to evaluate where they are today, where they want to go professionally, and what gaps exist between the two. Through this process, attendees will gain clarity on whether an MBA makes sense for their goals, when the right time may be to pursue one, and how to approach the decision thoughtfully.

Participants will:

  • Learn how the Fuqua admissions team evaluates candidates beyond their resume and test scores.
  • Gain insight into the MBA admissions process and what admissions committees look for in prospective students.
  • Hear directly from current students about their MBA journey and experiences navigating the application process.
  • Engage in guided reflection and interactive exercises designed to help assess MBA readiness and identify next steps.
  • Connect and network with peers who are exploring similar educational and career opportunities.
  • Leave with a clearer understanding of their personal MBA path and how to move forward with confidence.

The session is designed to create a thoughtful, student-centered experience that reflects Fuqua’s collaborative culture and intentional approach to leadership development.
