Last year, JumpStart partnered w/Sephora to host a diverse networking event @ Sephora’s office in San Francisco.
Given the year we are all enduring, we are thrilled to bring Women AND Men into a virtual diversity experience with Sephora to jumpstart your beauty!
The experience will feature Beauty Director Myiesha Sewell and Beauty Educator Albert McCrutcheon III, both members of SephoraNoir (Sephora’s Black and African American employee resource group).
Over the course of the Beauty & Grooming 30-45-minute experience, they will share advice to help you look your best for special occasions, virtual interviews or networking, or just living your best life day-to-day.
The deadline to express interest (by completing the survey and zoom registration) is October 1st, but given there is limited capacity to attend, we suggest you act fast.
Attendees will need to choose one of the breakout sessions. See additional details below.
Breakout 1: Make-up with Myiesha
Beauty Director, Myiesha Sewell will share her tips and tricks for an easy to follow natural make-up look perfect for the workplace. Featuring multi-tasking products and inclusive brands, she’ll show you how to highlight features and position your camera/lighting to optimize your look.
Breakout 2: All about skincare & grooming with Albert
Get your glow-on with Beauty Educator, Albert McCrutcheon III, who will demonstrate a simple skincare routine, as well as how to groom facial hair, fill in your beard (if needed) and address shaving issues (ingrown hairs, razor burn) so you can put your finest face forward.
