Director Corporate Strategy
The Corporate Strategy team is responsible for developing the strategic vision for Ulta Beauty and identifying and evaluating new growth initiatives. The Director of Corporate Strategy will play a critical role in shaping Ulta’s strategic agenda and long-term strategy. This individual will be responsible for partnering with key functional leaders to drive the strategic and annual planning processes and will spearhead key initiatives that advance the strategic agenda of senior leadership. This individual will lead problem solving and opportunity evaluation, including strategic and financial analysis and consumer/guest insights to develop strategies and create business plans for high potential opportunities.
Director Conscious Beauty (Corporate Strategy)
This role will establish Ulta Beauty as a leading voice in the clean beauty and sustainability spaces. This leader will build and shape Ulta Beauty’s newly announced Conscious Beauty at Ulta Beauty™ program, a new initiative for the company, founded with the objective of providing guests transparency and helping them navigate our assortment related to products that align to their personal values – across clean ingredients, cruelty free, vegan, sustainable packaging and positive impact.
This role is responsible for the strategy, execution and evolution of Conscious Beauty at Ulta Beauty, working in partnership with Ulta Beauty leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders including, but not limited to merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, store operations, IT, Legal and external experts / partners.
The Director, Conscious Beauty at Ulta Beauty must demonstrate a critical blend of both strong management and leadership capabilities and a depth of experience and understanding of clean beauty and sustainability. The ideal candidate is proficient at strategy development, critical thinking and program execution with a passion for beauty, sustainability and an aptitude for retail. The ability to influence, advise and manage many cross-functional players across levels is critical.
Director Strategic Portfolio Delivery (Corporate Strategy)
This role plays a pivotal role in shaping and leading Ulta Beauty’s Strategic Portfolio Delivery Office. This role is responsible for driving coordinated execution of the most critical enterprise initiatives, to deliver on Ulta Beauty’s strategic and financial objectives, working in partnership with the Senior Director, SPD team, senior leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders. The Director Strategic Value Delivery must demonstrate a critical blend of both strong strategic management and cross-functional leadership capabilities and a strong track record of successful execution of complex enterprise initiatives in a retail environment. The ability to influence, advise and manage a large number of cross-functional players across levels is critical.
Senior Analyst Corporate Strategy
The Corporate Strategy team is responsible for developing the broad, strategic vision for Ulta Beauty, and identifying, evaluating, and executing on new growth opportunities and strategic initiatives. The Senior Analyst, Corporate Strategy will be responsible for working closely with the Corporate Strategy team, and with colleagues at all levels and functions across the company. This individual will deliver value added business and financial analysis to inform decision-making for key opportunities, particularly as it relates to bold new strategic ambitions for Ulta Beauty.
This individual will also support competitive intelligence for the enterprise, including comprehensive monitoring of the competitive landscape, tracking the beauty market, and assessing dynamics and shifts in competitors’ strategies.
