TransRe is seeking candidates to join an accelerated six-month program, the Reinsurance Trainee program. Hires receive comprehensive training and exposure that aims to provide a solid foundation of education about the reinsurance industry and working at TransRe.
Participants will be immersed in the reinsurance industry and incorporated into TransRe’s culture while building their technical knowledge and skills. They will learn critical skills like evaluating requests for reinsurance by analyzing simulation modeling, actuarial analysis, litigation trends, distribution structures, and management qualifications that offer a basis of knowledge about how our underwriting business works.
Trainees will emerge from the program with a familiarity with TransRe’s way of doing business and prepared to contribute to an underwriting team by taking part in risk analysis, portfolio management, and broker negotiation.
