Vista Equity Partners is looking for individuals to join a highly selective summer program at a dynamic, industry-leading private equity firm. The 10-week, paid internship program is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of the software and the private equity industries while gaining exposure to Vista’s disciplined investment philosophy and best practices in portfolio company management. Vista’s emphasis on training and our history of hiring and promoting from within make the Internship Program a truly unique opportunity.
What is the Frontier Fellows Program: This program Creates career opportunities for exceptional undergraduate students who come from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in private equity (Women, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and/or American Indian). Fellows will participate in Vista’s leading private equity summer internship program, where they will learn, grow and gain hands-on transaction experience. Additionally, Fellows will be assigned a mentor, receive direct feedback, and have an opportunity to participate in various networking, social and educational events. Fellows will be awarded a scholarship of $25,000 at the close of the program and are eligible for full-time analyst opportunities.
What is Private Equity and the Job: Big picture, as an Analyst, you would join an organization focused on investments in software, data, and technology companies. The private equity analyst program provides you with immersive training and hands-on experience to develop valuation, due diligence, and deal execution skills, as well as best practices of portfolio company management. Working with investment professionals of all levels, you will learn from the ground up how a sector-specific private equity investor identifies, evaluates, and executes on new opportunities.
