ABOUT THE PATH TO BRAND MANAGEMENT DIVERSITY NETWORK (P2BM)
Applying an approach that resulted in 19 job offers while in business school for the two co-founders, functional business experience and recent insight from experts leading talent initiatives, we created JumpStart.
Over the last 3 years, more than 200 members from the Jumpstart Network were hired into brand mgmt or product management roles in the consumer product goods, tech, and other industries. Specific to our Brand Management diversity forum, more than 60% of attendees were invited to interview and 40% received a job offer.
In 2019, we are expanding our approach to be inclusive of working professionals who aspire to pursue a career in Brand or Product Management.
Our corporate partners attend JumpStart diversity forums to engage with our talent pool focused on professional development , expose our network to specific industry and functions, feature the company – culture – people, and ensure an understanding of the recruiting process all while getting to know you. Individuals attend JumpStart as part of their game plan to pursue competitive careers, engage with our partners, get 1:1 time with partners, and network with peers seeking similar career progression.
