As part of Deutsche Bank’s engagement with JumpStart, we are hosting a Zoom session to feature their 2021 summer internship program for undergraduate students prior to the application deadline.

Internship – Investment Banking Corporate Finance
Our Corporate Finance business provides the full range of advisory and financing products and services of a leading global investment bank. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors.

We offer both buy side and sell side advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, restructuring advisory, debt and equity capital raising services and structured equity transactions. We are able to advise on innovative cross-border and regional transactions in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.
The role
Our interns are given the opportunity to learn about our business from different viewpoints, giving you a career advantage. Working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects, you will contribute to the innovation of new ideas to help our customers achieve their financial goals. You will gain experience in different areas of our business and discover our market-leading solutions first hand. Tasks may include evaluating companies, developing models for M&A transactions, preparing industry analyses for pitches, or getting involved in the execution of live deals.
Internship – Fixed Income Sales, Trading, and Structuring
Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) brings together a top-ranked institutional sales force, world-class research with trading and structuring expertise across Foreign Exchange, Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets. The Fixed Income & Currencies business enables Deutsche Bank to respond to increasing automation, regulatory expectations and client demand for standardization and transparency in execution across fixed income, currency and emerging markets.
The role
Our interns are given the opportunity to learn about the different fixed income products along with the different profiles of our team members, including Sales, Trading & Structuring. Starting with up to a week of classroom-based training, you’ll then complete up to [THREE] rotations across FIC.
Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on your role (Sales, Trading & Structuring) and which desk you are with,
- Trading: Focused on origination, pricing, execution and risk management
- Sales: Focused on client relationship management & connectivity, driving both origination & distribution for the FIC business lines
- Structuring: Focused on origination, structuring, underwriting and syndication of a range of financing products
