Are you a current undergraduate or MBA student looking for a full-time role?

Join us and hear from Cornerstone Research Consultants!

Consultants from Cornerstone Research will be holding a presentation on economic consulting, and they will walk through an interactive case interview. By participating in the presentation, you will gain a better understanding of the analytical approach used to solve complex economic and financial problems. You will have the opportunity to solve conceptual puzzles that our consultants face every day and learn about common pitfalls to avoid during case interviews.

Following the case overview, you will have the chance to meet their consultants and follow-up with any questions regarding the case discussed. They are also available to answer questions about pursuing a career in economic consulting.

Current undergraduate and MBA students are encouraged to attend. For undergraduate students, recruiting for full-time Analyst role (open to seniors graduating in late 2024 or 2025) and our Summer Analyst program (open to juniors graduating in late 2025 or 2026). For current or incoming MBA students, recruiting for full-time Associate role (open to MBA students graduating in 2025) and our Summer Associate program (open to MBA students graduating in 2026).

Company Overview:

Cornerstone Research is a leading economic and financial consulting firm specializing in the analysis of complex economic, financial, accounting, and marketing issues that arise in the context of various kinds of litigation. For example, we may be asked to predict the effect of a merger of two major high-tech firms on prices and innovation, to determine the effect of unfavorable drug test results on the stock price of a leading pharmaceutical company, or to value a patent on smartphone technology that might have been infringed.

Speakers at The Event

John Bennett, Senior Analyst

John Bennett is a current Senior Analyst in the Washington, D.C. office. He joined Cornerstone Research immediately after graduating from George Washington University with a Bachelor’s in Math and Political Science. He works on a variety of cases at Cornerstone, but mainly focuses on computationally complex cases involving large data. In his free time, he likes to play and study chess.

Vijeta Tandon, Manager

Vijeta Tandon is a Manager at Cornerstone Research. In this role, she provides economic and financial analysis and expert support in all phases of commercial litigation. Ms. Tandon supports experts and attorneys through all phases of commercial litigation, including class certification, merits, deposition testimony, mediation, and trial. She has consulted on a diverse range of matters, including those involving valuation, intellectual property, and securities. Ms. Tandon holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an M.A. and B.A. from the University of Southern California.
